JADE CHAMBERLAIN
PRODUCER/ DIRECTOR /SCREENWRITER

Jade Chamberlain is a passionate film director and screenwriter who brings great dedication to her projects. She began her career at the age of 10 as an actress before deciding to cross to the other side as a film maker at the age of 15. She has studied various courses at The Film Television Institute and Sydney Film School aswell as a degree of Film and Video at Edith Cowan University. Her last film Perception came in at second at the Armadale film festival and was screened in cities around Australia through RAW artists festival; winning ‘Best Director’ and ‘Audience choice’ at StuffIt film festival in Sydney. Jade is constantly working to produce new material. She also has a keen interest in Casting and cast for My Name Is Grace. Jade was also the production designer, costume and location scout for My Name Is Grace. Jade also runs her own business under her production company Build My Reel- a business that creates showreels for actors from scratch. The business also caters for acting headshots.

SIMON AKKERMAN
CINEMATOGRAPHER

Simon Akkerman ACS is a highly experienced award winning Cinematographer with a career spanning over 40 years. Simon has worked for major clients across a variety of fields including film, television documentaries, large scale corporate and industrial production and Cinema / TV commercials, using a multitude of formats from 35 mm film rigs to the state-of-the-art HD cameras.
With an extensive resume that covers nearly every corner of the globe Simon has developed the skills needed to effectively relate on screen a wide and varying depiction of cultures, social backgrounds and art’s genres.
Simon regards himself an excellent communicator. He feels his successful career is largely due to his gift for building strong business relationships with associates of any status, together with his technical know-how and ability to coordinate a broad area of multi-million-dollar projects, consistently meeting and bettering time and financial objectives.
During his career Simon has conducted a number of Cinematographic courses, lecturing and mentoring at RCTI Indonesia, Edith Cowan University, and the International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu Philippines. He is a fully accredited member of the Australian Cinematographer’s Society (ACS) where he is also President of the Western Australian Branch. Simon was one of the original instigators of Professional Film Crew WA where he is also still actively involved on the committee.

RODI CUMANOV
1st AC

Rodi Cumanov operates Aerial Cinematography Solutions in partnership with well established Cinematographer, Simon Akkerman ACS. Rodi chose to follow his step father, Simon, footsteps into the game of film making. With the film industry expanding into cinematography drone work, Rodi acquired a UAV licence as well as set the business up with a CASA UOC certification making him a Chief Controller. Over the past couple of years, Rodi has been working on many film assignments together with Simon giving him hands on training from the best in the industry. His work has encompassed drone work on feature films as well as assisting on ground shoots using state of the art cameras and stabilisation rigs. Rodi will eventually graduate to cinematographer as his experience grows.

NATHAN SMITH
1st AD / Camera Assistant

Nathan smith is a keen gaffer, camera assistant and 1st AD from Perth. He has worked on various short films including the recent feature Jasper Jones which was shot in Perth. Nathan is also a screenwriter and director.

JAYDEN BEVERIDGE
EDITOR

Jayden Beveridge is known for his short film editing and viral animations. Born in Perth, Western Australia, Jayden studied Film and Animation at Edith Cowan University, developing his skill set in editing. Recently he has completed editing on Issoria (2015), Incursion (2015) and Sovereign (2016) while working on My Name is Grace (2016). Jayden is also a director of photography.

TYM SAUNDERS and ANDREW NEWCOMBE
SOUND

TYM SAUNDERS- Tim currently studies screen production at Murdoch University. He has worked as head of department in sound on various short films and is also a screenwriter and director.

ANDREW NEWCOMBE-Andrew Newcombe is a student at Murdoch University currently completing a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Screen Production and Sound. He has previously worked on the sound of multiple student films and produced the student film A Mismatched Pair(2016).

JESSICA LANE
HAIR and MAKEUP

Jessica Lane is a young aspiring makeup artist. She has always had a creative eye when growing up which helped her get into the makeup industry. Jessica completed her Diploma of Specialist Makeup in 2016. My Name is Grace was her first major job as a qualified makeup artist. Jessica hopes to persue further into the film side of the industry in the future.

SCOTT MAJIDI
SOUND MIXER and COMPOSER
​
Scott Majidi is a Perth based Director, Writer, and Composer. He has a wide range of musical abilities that include a Level 6 in AMEB music theory, 10 years worth of musical performance experience with a variety of instruments (including vocals, piano, guitar, trombone, trumpet, harmonica and ukulele), musical compositions used in films such as The L Equation (Concept Short), My Name is Grace (Short film), The Following (Short film), creating a culturally accurate soundscape for a 1 hour theatre performance set within ancient Greek mythology, he also has a strong passion with music remixing with over a dozen music mashups and remixes, he contains a large knowledge of the history of music (including music for film, theatre, modern music, classic music, musical artists, musical industry and more) and has had work experience within Nova radio station, supervised by the Productions and marketing director Andy Milne. Scott is also a passionate filmmaker who has directed short films such as Big Blue Bucket (2014), Losers (2014), The L Equation (2015), and is currently in pre-production for his newest film Little Raven (2016) set to be released Summer 2017. He has worked for directors such as Kiran Wilson (LFD Collective),

CAMERON GREEN and TIM GREEN
CAMERA ASSISTANTS

CAMERON GREEN- Cameron Green is currently studying at ECU. He has directed, edited and shot 2 short films which were features in the 2014 and 2015 CinefestOz film festival respectfully. He earned second place in 2014 and i was a finalist 2015. He is a passionate cinematographer, writer and director.

TIM GREEN- Tim Green is a writer and director in Perth. He also has worked as a camera assistant and DOP on various short film projects. Tim runs his own production company called Tim Green Films.
